A seven-session, Christ-centered
small-group study from Heart Change U
You are not the only one.
You may be experiencing anxiety.
People can sit beside one another in church, attend the same recovery meeting, serve in the same ministry, and never realize they are fighting similar battles beneath the surface.
They may look calm while carrying fear, pressure, sleeplessness, isolation, or the exhausting belief that they must hold everything together.
The Anxiety Iceberg Small-Group Program gives churches, recovery programs, and faith communities a way to begin this conversation through biblical teaching, honest reflection, practical exercises, prayer, and safe connection.
AVAILABLE AT NO COST THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
The materials become paid resources October 1.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many sessions are included?
The Anxiety Iceberg is a seven-session small-group study.
Each session includes teaching, discussion, a guided group activity, reflection, take-home practice, prayer, and a companion video. The sessions build on one another, beginning with safety and belonging and moving toward a life increasingly ruled by the peace and life of Christ.
Do I need to be a counselor to lead a group?
No. The program is designed for churches, recovery settings, and faith communities. Leaders should be emotionally mature, able to listen without trying to fix people, respectful of boundaries, and willing to follow the leader guide. The study does not make a facilitator a mental-health professional. Leaders should know when to encourage participants to seek qualified pastoral, medical, mental-health, or crisis support.
Can someone use the materials without being in a small group?
Yes.
The eBook, audiobook, and online course are available as companion resources for self-study.
The small-group program adds conversation, encouragement, shared learning, and the experience of walking through the material with others.
How long should each meeting last?
The leader guide recommends approximately 45 to 50 minutes per session, with time for prayer, teaching, discussion, an activity, take-home assignment, and closing prayer.
Can our church review the materials before deciding to offer the study?
The complete Small Group Kit is available at no cost through September 30, allowing your church, ministry, or organization to download and review the Leader’s Guide and Participant Workbook before deciding whether to offer the study.
How large should a group be?
The materials do not establish a required group size.
Choose a size that allows the leader to protect emotional safety, encourage participation, provide room for silence, and help people feel heard.
Can we print the participant workbooks?
Yes.
Each Small Group Kit includes permission to print one Participant Workbook for every participant in one Anxiety Iceberg small group, with no limit on the number of participants. A new Small Group Kit is required for each additional group.
